A straightforward guide to using Nurscience responsibly.

The short version
Nurscience provides independent CEN® exam-preparation materials. Please use one personal account, respect our original content, and remember that our materials support—not replace—your professional judgment and official exam resources.
01Accepting These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Nurscience (“Nurscience,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you visit nurscience.com, create an account, purchase a subscription, or use any Nurscience content or service.
By using Nurscience, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refunds & Cancellations Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
02Who May Use Nurscience
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Nurscience is designed for individual learners preparing for the CEN exam. You may not use the service where doing so would violate applicable law.
03Your Account
Provide accurate information, keep your login confidential, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. One subscription is for one person. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.
04Subscriptions, Billing, and Automatic Renewal
Nurscience offers recurring 1-month, 3-month, and 12-month subscription plans. The price, billing interval, included features, and renewal terms shown at checkout are part of these Terms.
Unless you cancel before your renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew for another term of the same length, and you authorize us and our payment provider to charge the payment method on file at the then-current price plus applicable taxes. If we change a subscription price, we will provide any notice required by law before the new price applies.
You are responsible for keeping your billing and contact information current. If a payment fails, we may retry the payment and suspend access until payment is completed.
05Cancellation
You may cancel through My Account → Subscriptions → Cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless we state otherwise or law requires otherwise, access continues through the end of the term you already paid for.
If you cannot access your account, email support@nurscience.com before the renewal date so we can help.
06Refunds
Refund eligibility and non-refundable situations are explained in our Refunds & Cancellations Policy. Except as provided there or required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide credits for partially used terms.
07Educational Purpose Only
Nurscience provides independent exam-preparation and educational materials. It does not provide medical advice, nursing advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical supervision, legal advice, continuing-education credit, professional certification, or permission to practice nursing.
Do not use Nurscience as a substitute for current clinical protocols, facility policies, official reference materials, professional training, or your own judgment. Never delay or alter patient care based on Nurscience content. In an actual clinical situation, follow applicable law, current standards, your facility’s policies, and the direction of qualified professionals.
08No Guarantee of Exam Results
We work hard to provide useful, accurate study materials, but we cannot promise that every item is error-free, that particular topics will appear on an exam, or that using Nurscience will result in a passing score, certification, employment, or any other outcome.
09Not Official Exam Content
Nurscience questions and explanations are independently created for study purposes. They are not copied from, supplied by, or represented as actual BCEN exam questions. Exam outlines, standards, and policies may change; consult BCEN for current official information.
10Our Content and Your Limited License
Nurscience and its licensors own the site and its original questions, answer choices, explanations, exams, lesson text, graphics, designs, software, branding, and other content. Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the service for your own non-commercial exam preparation.
This license does not transfer ownership. You may not copy, photograph, screenshot in bulk, record, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, publicly display, upload, scrape, harvest, reverse engineer, create derivative question banks from, or use our content to train or evaluate an artificial-intelligence system without our written permission.
11Acceptable Use
Please do not:
- Share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account.
- Copy, collect, publish, or distribute questions, answers, explanations, or other protected content.
- Use bots, scripts, crawlers, automated tools, or other methods to extract content or place an unreasonable load on the service.
- Bypass access controls, interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Upload malicious code, impersonate another person, commit fraud, or use the service unlawfully.
- Submit patient-identifying information, protected health information, or confidential employer information.
- Use Nurscience or its content to build, market, or improve a competing question bank, course, product, or service.
12Feedback
If you send suggestions, corrections, or other feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment to improve Nurscience. Please do not send confidential information or patient information.
13Third-Party Services
Nurscience uses and may link to third-party services, including payment, hosting, email, and learning tools. We do not control third-party content, availability, terms, or privacy practices and are not responsible for them.
14Service Availability and Changes
We may update content, correct errors, add or remove features, perform maintenance, or change the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption.
15Suspension or Termination
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, address nonpayment, investigate fraud or security concerns, or respond to a material violation of these Terms. Serious misuse—including account sharing or content theft—may result in termination without a refund, to the extent permitted by law.
16Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nurscience and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, and that the service will be secure or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
17Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nurscience and its owners, team members, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities; exam results; professional decisions; or damages arising from reliance on the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Nurscience during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nurscience and its owners, team members, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of another person’s rights, or content you submit. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from Nurscience’s own unlawful conduct.
19Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by Montana law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, claims relating to these Terms or Nurscience must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Lewis and Clark County, Montana, and each party consents to those courts’ jurisdiction.
20Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will post the revised Terms here with a new date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where law requires another form of consent.
21General Terms
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the business. These Terms and the policies incorporated above are the complete agreement concerning your use of Nurscience.
