How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your account.
  • Provide quizzes, exams, explanations, progress tracking, and other subscription features.
  • Process purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing communications.
  • Send service-related messages, including account, security, subscription, and policy notices.

Payments and Service Providers

We rely on trusted companies to help operate Nurscience. These providers may process personal information only as needed to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by law. They may include:

  • Stripe and payment networks for payment processing, fraud prevention, subscriptions, refunds, and disputes.
  • WordPress, WooCommerce, our learning-management and quiz tools, and related plugins for accounts, orders, subscriptions, course access, quizzes, and progress.
  • Bluehost and other hosting or security providers for website hosting, backups, performance, and protection.

  • Analytics providers, if enabled, to help us understand site performance and general usage patterns.

These providers have their own privacy practices. For example, Stripe’s handling of payment information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Nurscience and our providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain your cart, process checkout, prevent fraud, measure site performance, and understand how the service is used.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent account, checkout, quiz, or subscription features from working correctly. If we add advertising or nonessential tracking that requires consent, we will provide the controls required by applicable law.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose information:

  • To service providers that help us operate, secure, analyze, support, or accept payment for Nurscience.
  • When you ask us to share it or give us permission.
  • To comply with law, court orders, subpoenas, or lawful government requests.
  • To investigate fraud, security threats, misuse, or possible violations of our agreements.
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Nurscience, our users, or others.
  • As part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not currently use personal information for targeted advertising or sell it as those terms are defined by Montana privacy law. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required notice and opt-out choices.

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why we hold it. We may keep limited information after an account is deleted when required or permitted by law.
